The shelter took great care to teach the kids how to tie the beads on very well, and told the children to check for wear on the toys regularly.

That said, our litter box is the great outdoors, so I have no idea what their poo looks like. It's probably full of mouse, like the great big one I found on my doorstep this morning.

Good kitty.

Yes, you should always reward your kitty for bringing you a 'present'. It shows that they love you, and are trying to please you. And you can always put the mouse in the deep fryer. I hear they do that all the time in Georgia (lol, DaveM).

We don't use mouse here in Georgia. We use opossum.

My parents use rattlesnakes and owls in MT. However they occasionally fight back.

That kitty pic gives me the chills every time you post it. Poor kitty! I'd be a total wreck if my cat had something like that happen to him. Yet another reason to keep him indoors!

Bull, have any of these people actually MET you???

(I have a habit of meeting you...Get it? Habit? Sister Bull? Don't mind me. The dog just stole my daughter's breakfast off the table and spilled an entire container of plastic beads. I just went nuclear on everyone here. I think I've got to start drinking early today.)
I have. I bet I could get away with it. He knows I have good vices!

The cat was actually acting better than he had been after the owl attack. He's been fighting a diabetic situation that comes and goes which is very odd. So half the time he needs insulin and the other half the time the insulin is way too much. He jsut needed an adrenaline rush to get going again it seems.

Sidestory: He came into my parents lives when my dad had his Porsche shop in MT. One day that cat came up and sat on his chest while my dad was wroking underneath a 911. Must have been an odd sensation to be under a car and then have something crawl up on your chest.

Maybe the cat was trying to tell your dad something. Like, "Hey! Quit workin' on this dang pile of metal and FEED ME!"

Wow, bowl 'O beads for breakfast and then of to Critter Camp at the local Animal Welfare Center's Summer Camp for PETS!!!!! Great way to save money and get rid of the crumb goblers for the day. We thought about the Day Camp for the dogs, but didn't realize people dropped kids there too!

For those who don't know...St. Hubert's Giralda is an Animal Welfare Center up the road from us, which was established in perpetuity by a woman who's name happened to be Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge. Actually Ethel Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge, but her buds knew her as Geraldine. ......I think the fences are high enough to contain crumb gobblers too!

What Cooley didn't tell you is that his dad has more money in the cat than he does his race car!

Joe, did he tell you the story about my timing belt desintigrating on the way to the vet?

You see, Joe's dad has been 'babysitting' my 968.

Sorry, back to your regaularly scheduled programming...

That timing belt issue brings up a question I've been meaning to ask. Do Porsches have non-interference engines?

It is depressing how much money is in the cat.

What's even more unfortunate is that I never came out to help babysit the thing.

And letting him babysit it was your idea. Pretty bold move considering his luck with 928 engines recently.

So any good stories from the Sip N Dip?

My 924 did. Many have interference engines. A lot of 944s end up in the shop for a 3000 dollar job because they didn't replace the TB at good intervals.
