Ah, no fair! You're in South Florida?!? You're way to close to Sebring and Homestead. I'm jealous. I'll be in the panhandle (Navarre -- near Pensacola, Ft. Walton Beach) at the end of the month -- can't wait! Okay . . . back on topic.

Bonni, my question is sort of taking things off on a slight tangent here. I find it so interesting how my varied interests seem to cross paths with hanfulls of common groups, (ie. I was a Miata racer for a while). I've seen you on a few different boards and seen Doc Wong's name splatters all over a number of different boards.

Does the good Doc also organize drives, specifically Porsche drives? I might have to look into that if he does next time I'm down visiting family.

Finally, my condolances to Luis and his family. I know those roads well, and sometimes bad things happen to good people up there (animals, a**hats drifting into a persons lanes, etc.).

And Ghetto Racer. Geez.. you are a true tool. I didn't think I could have less respect for you and your ilk, but with this post you proved me wrong.

Yes, Doc Wong organizes drives quite often. They aren't necessarily Porsche-exclusive, but we often get a good handful of all breeds of Porsche. You can get complete details (scoll down) on his website: http://www.docwong.com/Autos/index.htm His drives are routinely noted on the Babblers forum (Boxster folks, mostly).

OH . . .P.S. . . . as far as I know, Doc still has that bike, as does Aaron last time I heard.

Don't forget cheerleading, poker and the Great Outdoor Games which include log rolling, and the hotsaw competition.

OMG . . . they really show that junk on ESPN2? When did poker become a sport? And people suggest that racing isn't really a sport. Pishaw!

I actually like the outdoor ggames. They were here in Madison in 2005 and that was a fun thing to see. Not something I'd want to see on TV but fun to experience.

Wrist Wrestling, Snowmobile Drag Racing in July on grass, and anything that NO other channel, including the hundreds of cable channels, will show....like Drifting!

I'll just be visiting from April 27-May 19th. I get out that way about every two or three months. I'll be staying in Navarre with my significant other (yeah, talk about long distance). I told him I'll consider moving there if he ever cleans out his garage (to put my racecar in). Lol.
