In my estimation, I would say this is about where you fall on that scale...

Where do I fall? See chart below - I'm inspired by Color Change and Homer Simpson:

I dunno but here is some good reading. In it Ghettoracer explains how he is in control of situations where he is 4 wheels off, explains why he is right and everyone else is wrong, etc. etc. Some good reading if you like to laugh.

Some of the gems

It was an oversteer over correction that resulted the car going low speed (~25 mph) off the track on the exit of T14. The rotation of the car WAS under control, how ever the path of the car was not exactly
rrriiiiiigghhttttt, it was under control but it wasn't

Man you must have failed that day.
Evo8 has fantastic Brembo brakes bone stock. But unfortunately under hot lapping, it faded slightly. Owner was riding in car when the brake fade happened. The 2 wheel off was not caused by a driver's error. It is a mechanical issue.
actually that's driver error

LMAO... As an aside, the Brembo brakes on the Evo VIII actually suck hind tit.

They LOOK fantastic, but they actually suck badly under anything but cruising & ricer-show conditions.

Remember, Brembo sells essentially 2 lines: the OEM crap that looks cool but is not that well made (but is sold by the millions to car makers like Mitsubishi), and their aftermarket race-oriented stuff which is actually superb (IMO).

It is not surprising that our friend Frankie Goes To Hollywood does not know the difference, and thinks the Evo VIII has "fantastic Brembo brakes bone stock"...

I have a picture of me and Bobby Orr, taken waaaay back (duh). That picture does not make me a great hockey player. Same thing with Boom Boom Geoffrion, Eddie Giocamin, Big Jim Nielson, etc. etc. etc.

I have raced against Derek Bell and people named Dyson (blah blah blah), but that doesn't make me a star or even provide evidence that I have a clue.

'Credentials'. Let your reputation do the talking. Racer ? What do your fellow racers think ? Instructor ? What do your fellow instructors think ?

Only in Hollywood does somebody like Paris Hilton achieve fame by 'being famous because she's famous'. The rest of the world doesn't give a ****. Results, performance, achievement....that's what counts (must have OD'ed on the 'sound like your dad' pills).

topic change....
Really i have those brakes on my subaru (not the evo ones exactly) and I think they are great brakes for the car its supposed to be. They stop my 3500lb econo-box in posthaste fashion (although i have done lines, fluid and better pads). Granted they, could be bigger/better, but they have wonderful heat dissipation and they are easy to work with (change pads so so fourth).

Although I've never had better brakes so I'm no expert. Not to point fingers, but i was under the impression that porsches also use the OEM line of Brembo products (although i have been know to be wrong).

They are so bad that people who know call them Brownbos. A reference to the color that they turn after a few track days.

Correct. IIRC, even the ones on the Subaru STi are a better grade of Brembo.

I had no idea they were that different.
