That one has NO LWBs, which heavily impacts value. I think the smoke is clearing - if you have LWBs, it is worth more than MSRP.

There are 5 GT4's for sale on the first page of Rennlist Vehicle Marketplace as I type this...so there are reasonable deals to be had.

I wonder why so many are changing hands recently?

If it's the Riverside, CA Manheim auction today my dealer buddy said a 1,900 mile Saphire GT4 went for $103k and a 2,100 mile Lava 991 RS went for $225k. He didn't know what their original MSRP's were.

GT4 is not that hard to find lately, however cars asking for $20k over msrp are still sitting in the owner garage. OP I would rather buy a 997.2GT3 same price with GT4 or 991GT3 for an extra $20-30k or wait until 991.2GT3 with MT prolly starting around $140k. If you ask the same question in another forum, people will tell you it crazy to pay $20k markup for any GT4 regardless of desire options.

Same price 997.2 GT3 is nice, but no warranty and not as good a street car. So different strokes. 991 GT3 is nice, but 20-30k more is only if comparing low MSRP 991 GT3 to high MSRP GT4. Realistically, equally optioned it's still 40k or so difference. Unless paying a large premium on the GT4.

I believe GT4 prices will remain strong. Chances are next iteration will be turbo and could be 3 years away. It is really the epitome of a true sports car and not many cars out there compare as a complete package. It has a MANUAL, mid engine, great looking, well built, big brakes and wheels, and the steering and suspension one of the best combo on the market. If you want Paddles then there are plenty of options out there. I know- what about the Corvette and Mustang?? Yes - very good cars but not close to the Gt4 as a complete package.

I would say if you own one enjoy what this car represents and delivers. If you want one - go buy it and paying a little over will not hurt you down the road. You will get it back with smiles.

Yup, I almost have 14k miles on mine and love every moment. I put some good mods on it and it's a blast at the track.

LWB cars are hard to find, and def going min 5k over sticker. LWB+PCCBs are 10-15k over.

Only way the demand stays this strong is if they don't have a manual option .2 GT3(RS).

There are a lot of guys in GT4s now that would otherwise have a 991.1 GT3 Manual if it were offered, which I would think inflates the GT4 demand a bit.

Decided to keep my GT4 after reading this thread. (I removed my listing on Rennlist Classifieds.)
