I have our Bridgestone rep trying to get an idea from production schedulers when the next round of the 245's are going to be made. So far, he has not been able to get a solid answer. I'll report back as soon as I get an answer.

I gave up trying to look for a set of RE-71R's and went with a new set of Cup 2's....

Bummer- those tires are twice as expensive & not as good on track. But no other options really. Actually is cheaper to buy the forged 19s. The tire money savings will buy the tires after 3-4 iterations. Now I know why the experienced track guys bought the smaller wheels right out of the box.

Well, TR price difference was somewhere around $2xx more for the Cup 2's over the RE-71R's, so I didn't think it was too bad, but I can't wait weeks or months considering my new wheels come in at the end of this week.

I see TireRack updated delivery in March!!!!! I need new tires now......or is going again with MPSC2.
Does anyone know where I could source a set, at least the front ones?

FYI.....Summit Racing does list the RE71R 245/35-20 (front only) as available at the end of January....I chat with them to inquire more info but they said end of month.
My worry is placing the order and then not getting the tires during January because of delays/pushing forward the delivery date.
Trying to source at least the front ones through various channels and then go with TR for the rear ones.
Will post if I find any stock of these.......
