Thank you for sharing ciantosca, some quick times ahead of you, didn't make the leader board. Watkins Glen appears to be a very difficult track that takes a lot of skill to master.

Finally got my toe settings sorted and promptly went 1.4 seconds faster than my previous personal best! Great time at Buttonwillow with the San Diego Region PCA. I shared my teammates Clubsport in the Club Race enduro and we scored the podium with 3rd overall and 1st in the GTD class!! Awesome!

I had the pleasure of meeting Chris Brown (author of the Squiggly Lines book) and he was kind enough to help tweak my video settings on my MoTeC camera. Much improved as you can see!

I am interested in learning more about your experience driving the Clubsport and how it compares to the GT4. Please tell more!!!

PS Your Trailer video on youtube is very cool with lots of brain time involved in making in just the way you want it. I will copy one day!

The biggest differences are the tires, PDK and the brakes. I wasn’t able to extract the maximum from the extra grip (I had zero seat time that weekend prior to jumping in during the enduro). The PDK is just so easy to drive, and it allows me to LFB which I prefer. In fact, the car is really easy to drive. I was disappointed the checkered flag came so early! I could have double-stinted!

Here I am crossing the finish line:

Sounds like there may be some COTA street tire updates from this weekend - though I don't see how, the traffic was SOOOOO bad for clean laps.

Been a while since I posted last time. Summer is finally over so time to go back to a track!! I wasn't able to install Fabspeed GT450 package due to family complaint... Not sure when I can but just drive as is by then.

I drove MSR Cresson 1.7 CCW and Harris Hill Road CW during the holidays. 1st time to drive 1.7 CCW config but it's just a part of 3.1 so nothing really new... I've driven Cayman R a lot at H2R several years back but never drive GT4 so just wanted to try if I can renew my personal best. As the track condition is much worse than when I ran 1m22.9s on R almost 5 years ago, I wasn't even able to match... I didn't have enough courage to push the car that hard.

Anyway, there are the results.
MSR-C 1.7 CCW 1m19.61s (amb 78F)
H2R CW 1m23.92s (amb 64F)

GT4 mods: OE size RE-71R, DSC V2 controller, mid/stiff ARB

Hey John. Seems you are enjoying the new job!! There is a sound concern from the co-owner until we really turn her to more track oriented vehicle... Maybe I just installed them except for exhaust and header first. :P

More than I could have imagined haha. Oh you have to get some of that stuff on there! Throw on everything but the valvetronic exhaust, that's the really loud bit. The headers/intake/tune will wake that car up big time, and with the factory PSE still on there shouldn't be too overwhelming for the co-owner.
