GT4 Database

Hi Gmaki,
Now that you are back, I decided to look for my car in your database (#192211) and I still can't find it. Funny, I picked it up in Leipzig last June and received it in Toronto in early August. Just looked in the garage, and it does exist!! Are there others which haven't shown up yet? Just wondering. And by the way, thanks for all the work you have put into that database.

I did find several more VIN's but most of them were unclaimed. I really thought they would all be there by now but they aren't.
At this point I think it is best to just send me your build and I will enter it all in by hand. All I really need, if you have it, is the option codes and MSRP.
Out of 41 PTS cars I only have the color on 26. And in most of those cases there are only one or two of each color. So it would not make much of a pie chart I am afraid.

Thanks again to gmaki for this invaluable tool for GT4 enthusiasts.
For the sake of posterity, I'm #1325 and took delivery in Riverside in April 2016. A little more than a year later, the car has 10,000 trouble-free miles as a daily driver.

GT4 Build Numbers:
In addition to the extensive information in the database, I picked up basic registration numbers from a German pff.de thread here:
- As of Jan. 1, 2016, total registered in Germany were: 319 (per an email from the "Kraftfahrtbundesamt KBA", which tracks that data)
- As of Jan. 1, 2017, total registered in Germany were: 1004 (also from a KBA email). This makes 685 registered during 2016.
- A July 2016 estimate for the total 2016 GT4 build number was 3800, 680 of those for Germany. The latter corresponds well with the KBA data of 685.
- A Sept. 2016 estimate for the total overall GT4 build number was 64xx, allegedly overheard and leaked to the poster by an internal source.
- There are two estimates for GT4s delivered in Switzerland. First is 90..100 GT4s, second is 100..120 GT4s.
Hope this information is useful to someone, or simply just of general interest to the GT4 historians.
