Default Is this the first PTS GT4?

I was under the impression that the PTS allocation months started in October, so anything posted prior should be suspect (and is likely PS unless it is a factory car).

I would suspect that this is a photoshop, since the reflected light on the display stand and on the floor below the side skirt is yellow, leading me to think this car is actually yellow.

Both of these images seem photoshopped. First because the image quality, lack of smooth finish to the paint, secondly the color was off... doesn't look exactly like either riviera blue or mexico blue... Noble attempt.

The first one is definitely photoshopped.

T-Dog, many have asked about resale value on PTS vehicle. Could you share any details about your actual experience?

Default 'Riviera Blue'...

The OP's photo was posted by @itscarsome a few days ago at his website. She (I believe it's a woman) is based in Stuttgart.

https://instagram.com/itscarsome/

The person that took the photo (itscarsome) was asked:

(blueparasolstrips) Photoshoped???

(itscarsome) Nope, it isnt. Didnt change anything, might be a little darker in real, but this is actually the real colour

Me thinks its the real thing...and looks to me like 'Riviera Blau'!

Agree with GTautodesign that second photo is in fact 'photoshopped' from the 'Racing Yellow' gt4 factory show car. But the color chosen for it by the manipulators is NOT representative of 'Riviera Blue'. Here is what 'Riviera Blue' looks like on a 981 and that color appears to me the same as the gt4 that (itscarsome) photographed a few days ago in Stuttgart, but taken in different light & camera lenses!

Porsche has already done some PTS Cayman gt4s & 981 Spyders for publicity & marketing purposes. Don't let the report that PTS production for regular gt4/spyder customers will start later this Fall/Winter prevent you from accepting the fact these two 'Riviera Blue' examples appear to be actual PTS vehicles!

Agree that this is indeed a genuine Riviera Blue GT 4. Further images of the same car I believe. Photos courtesy of spaetzle_photography on Instagram https://instagram.com/p/47BghGtzR1/

Great looking color.

Wonder why it has yellow side markers and a rear license plate frame like the US cars? Maybe a car we will see in promotions here in the States.

'fergusgo': Thanks for the photos!

Brian: The slightly odd thing here is that it has a BB (Böblingen, Baden-Württemberg) plates and not the ones you would expect (LB - Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg) normally associated with Porsche Sales, Marketing & Customer Service offices at Ludwigsburg!
