Default Bye GT3 and hello GT4

Hello and Goodbye...
Was looking for a new driving experience and transitioned from the 997.2 GT3 to a GT4. I do miss the power of the GT3. But I will NOT miss the center lock wheels! I love the mid-engine sound and feel of the GT4. Not to mention the great drive ability. The new 4 is currently down with our friends at Autoquest. Can't wait to get the "proper" GT4 back....

Congratulations. What do you mean by "proper" GT4? I assume the work they are doing, but what all are you having completed?

Spending too much time in the UK so that word "proper" just popped out. First, all the safety equipment as I plan on spending a lot of time on the track. Roll bar, harnesses, fire extinguisher, front set risers. Plus track alignment and second set of Forgeline wheels and Hoosier tiers. A performance tune with headers, plenum, throttlebody, and access port. Also going to install the ST Carbon Ceramic Rotors. Will do another build in the near future to do the shorter gears and suspension.

Congratulations on your new GT4! You're going to really love driving it fast, it's just a blast.

Thank you for clarifying. Sounds like it will be a beast. I assume you're in FL, and I get there often for work, would love to check it out one day!

Welcome to one of the best balanced cars you'll ever enjoy!
I have never felt more connected to a car than when first seating in a GT4

Congrats on GT4. You will love the car as there is a real great balance and feel to the car, especially with the upgrades you mention. I have to say that selling the 997.2 GT3 for a GT4 is a gutsy move, as that car is a future classic and I hope you can live with your decision the long run. Sometimes it is always fun to move on and try new cars, something I have a difficult time doing.
Good luck and GT4 looks great.

The GT4 is a better overall car with fewer issues than the 997.2 GT3

Both great cars and the "better" car is entirely subjective. Hopefully, the OP will agree with you.
