We rejected the Volvo when shopping for my wife last year because of the "all touch-screen, no switches" dash. When the salesman had to go two levels deep in a menu to turn the AC on or something like that, I knew it wasn't for us. Landed on GLC300 which has no touch screen and lots of buttons.

Ours is a 2011. Volvo is off my shopping list since the Geely buy out. Wouldn't touch a current one.

Is this the 718 GT4 discussion or did I make a wrong turn?

Can I add we have a Toyota RAV4 V6, its about the same size as the Macan but the interior volume is about the same as a Cayene.

Just getting back on topic a bit (Volvos and RAV4s OMG!). The article is interesting as is the video (yes its a CS), but could we imagine what a 718 GT4 variant with PDK may sound like?

New rav is four cylinder only. My girlfriend just bought a RAV4 Adventure and is in love with it. Really solidly built and well designed vehicle.

The number of turns this thread has taken is mind boggling

At least it's still car talk, as we await for an eventual 718GT4 announcement...someday.

Our Volvo XC60 is a 2010, almost 100,000 miles, and my wife can't believe how solid it is.

May I have close to the same experience with my 718 GT4

Question

In the hope of keeping this forum on track please see an older but valid article below. Hope everyone has an expression of interest lodged with their dealer!
