That's actually why we spent the time to develop an adapter kit for those trunks so you can cut the holes, and use our reinforcement plate to accept a GT4 wing.

One thing youll have to consider is a weaker trunk strut, since without the weight of the wing, the trunk will pop open easier when unlatched!
Certainly, the easiest thing is to swap the entire deck lid / wing combo with a GT4 owner. But, good to know Jacob that you've developed a way it can be retrofitted similar to the OEM - those bolt on aftermarket wings that bolt (or rivit) through the top of the light aluminum lid skin are no bueno IMO.

While I agree this would achieve the cleanest look, it doesn’t solve any of the issues of deleting the wing on the GT4.
It would certainly be the right way to go about a long term swap if there was something that could do what the wing does.

For me personally - I agree that I’m not really sold on having to add anything on top of the existing ducktail. A diffuser is the best option to me (aesthetically speaking)

Wing deletes color matched and installed.
Took maybe 45 min.

After about 300 miles on SoCal highways, and several hours of hard canyon driving - there is no noticeable difference in how the car handled for me in those conditions.

I have a track day at Buttonwillow next month. I’m going to take the wing and try both on track side by side for comparisons sake.

I just bought my first Porsche -- a like-new 2016 GT4 that I will use as a DD. I'd like to get the wing-delete plates. Would you mind helping me out as well. Thank you
