Default Cayman GTS tuned by RRS

We acquired this 981 GTS and collaborated with RSS and Signature Wheels to further improve handling. It pleases us that the Client put it in good use!

This 981 GTS 6MT is a hot rod. It pulled 1:40.1 at Laguna Seca on cording Cup 2's and I suspect it is even faster now with the latest suspension bits and new wheels/RE-71R's.

Isn't that the "berm from hell" on the T-hill 5 mile? That ones' a good test for your wheels and upper strut mounts. The karters really love it!

The GT4 is a certainly a bit faster. My 1:39 lap of Laguna Seca in the GT4 (carrying a passenger) set that same day is posted on YouTube.

1:40 is still plenty quick. There was less grip and power, but the balance of the GTS was actually more neutral than the GT4 with its narrower tires and X73 suspension.

It was fun to work with RRS to show how fast a GTS can be with only tires, brakes, and alignment bits. Looks like its new owner is continuing to enjoy it!

shame the EPS feels poor on the GTS , stopped me from buying any 991 and 981 non GT car.

Indeed. Let's build another car together!
