The SP boys are working OT to get me up and running.

Thanks to CJ Wilson and Mooty for getting me the parts to race today.

Rain has stopped. Looks clear for remainder of the day. Just need the track to dry out a bit.

I managed a PB of 2:30.4 at the end of Friday in good weather. I was hoping for more, but I'll have to settle for that. The rains came all day Saturday and most of Sunday. My final session on Sunday finally had the sun shining and me back on stickers. However, the Yellow and White groups were combined, and traffic as well as the more restricted passing zones didn't afford a clean lap, so I only matched my best of Friday.

I had a great time in Austin. It was great meeting some fellow Rennlisters. CotA is a fun track. It's challenging to find speed. I'll most certainly be back soon.

You better hurry; 24C already has one and it's a manual - you've got some catching up to do.

Mooty's avatar pic shows his CS in hippie regalia.

It just finished it's core workout on the swedish
exercise ball, and is having a protein shake.

2:30 is fantastic considering the conditions! If you factor in the mixed run groups and bad weather the conditions were definitely not optimal for putting down a PB.

BTW - Your car is truly a work of art!
