Default How many actual transmission failures?
I still don't think there's an actual accurate count ?
Anybody know the real number?

I've counted 8 failures including the one on the Cayman GTS. The 8th one was reported by moveswiftly on 5 November. I started at the beginning of the "GT4 G81 Transmission Failure" thread and counted through. Caveat...I've had at least 2 strong IPAs while watching election returns, so my count may be off??

I've heard that historical GT3 track % of 70%. I'd guess GT4 track use is likely at least that high. % might be lower now that PDK is standard...

are the transmission failures solely occurring on vehicles with moderate to heavy track use? Any occurrences on the street?

It's fewer than the number of GT3 engine issues. That's all that matters.
