GT4 Power Package Options

GT4 Power Package Options
Post ups what power package options you have "actually" added, what you have gotten in terms of gains in HP and TQ, what you like and don't like about what you have done. It would be nice to have 1 thread that reflects what people have actually done and how happy they are.
To date I have only done Cargraphic sport headers - they represent an outstanding balance for street or track use and sound fantastic. They help smooth out the dip in acceleration in the mid range and sound absolutely fantastic at full song! Not sure they add much power, but what they do add is well worth the price of admission.
I am looking to add 82mm throttle body and tune and interested in who has done what and how it has worked and if you have had CEL issues or not. I have read most threads since the board went up and done lots of searches on the topic. But now I am looking for real world feedback from the end users, not the very capable professionals who create and sell the packages.
Thanks in advance for your experiences.

I added the IPD and the throttle body along with the BMC filters, no tune yet, stock exhaust.
CEL showed up twice and went away on its own, I've done some research, and most say that the CPU needs to adapt to the higher air flow which it looks like its doing so far.
The car definitely feels better in the mid to high RPM, the intake sounds like a turbo under acceleration with a high pitched whistle which you can hear with the windows open.
Overall, a worthwhile upgrade for the money as the car feels more responsive and powerful(seat of the pants not dyno).
Planning to add headers and a tune over the winter keeping the stock exhaust.
Best

Cargraphic sport headers, IPD and throttle body, BMC Filters, customized tune by Ehresmann Automotive.
Zero issues so far (2500km), no CEL ever seen.
Runs actually cleaner, power output is more linear with dips filled.
Healthy gains, especially in the midrange, freer reving to the top,
more and true "GT" feeling overall.
Sound is more than fantastic. Not a bit louder in cruising mode, very nice at medium throttle
and absolutely insane wide open.
Feels faster and it is: Acceleration from 100 to 200km/h is now 9.1s, stock between 10 and 10.5s.
Not dyno´d yet, but the claimed 420 PS and 450Nm seems realistic to me.
Fuel consumption actually dropped about 1.5 to 2 liters per 100km.
All in all, I am more than happy with the power package.
Was more than worried about spoiling the whole car or running in
numerous issues when I started installing the package. Wasn´t necessary.
Just allow the CPU some adaption time, it felt right from the start and even better
after 200km.
Hope this helps - would do it again anytime.

Installed IPD plenum and 82mm TB, CEL went away after a few starts.
Dundon headers are being built.
I didn't install an aftermarket filter because the increased engine wear isn't worth the few horse powers.

Typical N/A pricing (high) to add little power.
Tunes with hardware a bit of a hybrid. The hardware could be spread over more units but the tune would be model specific if done right.

Cost versus value is always a tough equation on a NA cars. Goal is to maximize the platform without spending GT3 money!

I started with FVD LT Sport Headers and the Valveless exhaust. Car sounds awesome( do not know if it is the combination of both because they went on at the same time). Noticeable power gains low and midrange and dips ironed out.
Then added Plenum/TB with a tune 2 weeks ago. No CEL what so ever but the Master Mechanic had car all hooked up and said he was able to successfully do the adaptation although the Tune has the adaptation built in. I have not noticed much of a difference but the car does pull from 6000 up to redline like a freight train and seems to really breathe better up there. So my take is the headers helped in the midrange and tune w/ TB/Plenum really helpedthe upper rev range. I do not hear any whistle or any change in sound with the Upgraded TB/Plenum- which is probably good but it is possible that since my exhaust is pretty loud above 5000 rpm that any whistle is masked.
I will Dyno car in a coupe week but the car used to be quick and now with all these Mods I would say it is fast now. No need to be faster unless you are a drag racer.

Yes, like sex, dirty version .
When talking about cost versus value, I think it is quite nice
to gain maybe 30 HP or even 40 HP at some points.
But what makes the package really worthy is the overall feel.
The engine no longer lacks in comparison to the chassis,
it is indeed a different animal and a true GT in every aspect.
That´s well worth every buck, if not priceless to me.
