Default Replacing Lip

Ok, did this a bunch of times on my 997 GT3. Two screws, pull down; push new one in, screw back in; done!

Pulled the two end screws, pulled and nada. What am I missing? Explain to the moron how it's done

If it's anything like the 991 GT3, you pull hard until it feels like it's going to break, and then you pull harder.

It always helps to look carefully at the new part to see the exact attachment features. That usually is enough to figure out how to remove the old part.

When I did this I had to pull harder than I expected. The shark tooth part is on the top, so pulling up will jam the tooth, pulling down might work better. It's easier once you get around the corner toward the front of the car. Good luck.

i just did that yesterday
pull HARD like you are trying to pull the whole car into the trailer, firmly, slightly downward
only two screws at each end.

One of the benefits of the tapered "shark tooth" profile is you can get a tool in behind it and release each tab clip
