OEM 20" GT4 Bridgestone RE-71R status
#211
I finally received the RE-71R order I placed with TireRack back in March. The tire is still not available on the TireRack's web site, instead a new Bridgestone Potenza S007A tire is listed under the extreme performance category.
Is this a replacement for the RE-71R?
How does it compare in terms of performance with the RE-71Rs?
Is TireRack going to perform a side-by-side test so we can get some idea on how well it performs in autocross?
Thanks!

From that other forum I copied a quote from a Tirerack person, which confirms what I guessed:

The S04 will not go away at this time and the RE71R will stay as well. They are listing the S007A in the OE AP1 sizes but I do not have any confirmed dates yet.but should be around the first of May.
If I can help let me know."
