The viper green is also in maryland. I can't remember who owns it though. Maybe a shop? I can't remember who told me it was nearby but it was someone that saw my gulf orange in person. They are supposedly only about 20 minutes away from me. The annapolis riviera blue one is the one i was pictured with!

I always wonder where that Gelbgrun car went. Almost bought it over my Birch Green since it had a higher msrp/spec but in the end didn't want to ship it to SoCal + have to clear bra it.

I think the viper green car at one point was in Texas, would be interested to confirm if it's around DC.

I don’t see Porsche Tournament Of Colors having been mentioned in this thread. #TournamentOfColors

Lol. Some of us sought out a PTS with sofas! Not everyone likes doing gymnastics to get in and out of their car. I don't track my car so i don't need the extreme bolstering and having non LWB opens the resale market to more people that don't exactly fit in LWB. I went back and forth between LWB and 18 way adaptives at the dealer showroom and the LWB were a pain in the ***. Plus i'm one of the only GT4's out there with heated seats! =)?
I’m 100% with you on the LWBs, was just kidding about the Maritime car, it is as close to what I want that was built in 2015. I don’t find the LWBs to be uncomfortable at all, but I know my wife would despise them in terms of ingress/egress and it’s important to me that she enjoys my cars as well. I like the 18 ways in my current GT4 and I’d probably just add a set to a PTS car if it was built with the buckets, as most were.

The more I think about it, the more I’m ok with paying over MSRP for the right Blue/Grey/Green car. That being said mileage(preferably under 10k), condition(near perfect), maintenance(up to date), and history(perfect) play a large role in how much over. I’m worried that trading my 981 on the 718 might be a bit of a letdown.

PTS 991.1 GT3RS's go for what a "normal" 991.2 GT3RS goes for so you'd be paying close to the Shark Blue 718 GT4 110k MSRP you quoted. Obviously lots of pro's/con's but that's how the market goes with PTS and you only need one buyer willing to pay it . I'd still say you should make a WTB thread on the rennlist market place and see what comes out. I know of a Riviera Blue 981 GT4 sitting in a warehouse here in Los Angeles with delivery miles and a high msrp(110k-120k, I forget), it's going to take 120k+ to pull that car out of the collector's garage or maybe even more in today's market.

WOW! Beautiful car, congrats! I looked at a Y97 991.2, really do love that shade of Slate. Crazy how different it is from 615, would be a tough choice if you had the option. Clearly no wrong answer though

I think the voodoo blue car that was for sale in the NE (New York??) with the zone 5 & 6 overevs was bought by someone that lives near Austin.
I hope they knew the history prior to purchase.
I think this because;
I had an email conversation with a voodoo blue owner in austin that recently bought a car from the NE.
I chose not to ask him if he reviewed the DME report prior to purchase.........................

Sorry to hijack but I just posted a meetup to see if some people might want to get together next sunday August 22nd for a PTS photos. Gauging availability and then we can pick a location if there is enough interest based on where people are coming from.

If all goes well maybe i can add some cool pictures to this thread!

Anyone looking to buy a PTS 981 GT4 here's your chance. 1 of the 41 and 1 of 2 in Mint Green is up for sale: https://main-line.porschedealer.com/...0610b6718a.htm

10k miles, $131,990 on the site.

FYI Mint Green car is now sold(no longer on the website).

Good data point for those of us with PTS colors on today's market. Basically a 981 PTS car will go for what a "stripper" 718 GT4 goes for(130kish).
