Have you looked at your own car yet? You might get upset

Joe is just slow with all that extra weight he is carrying around on the track. He just needs to get faster.

I am sure it is normal as suggested in this forum based on my ignorance of brake rotors.

the available replacement APs or Giros probably look like this too. I bet my car does have this as you suggest - I will live.
Hope I didn't come across as being too rough. Was giving you a hard time, I admit.
No hard feelings, I hope.

Lol. I'll look into it.

You're right and you got me! Goal is to make sure nothing sticks to the wheel or the tire next time!

Before anybody jumps in to claim "mill balancing", I have received quite a few photos from other members who have some mill balancing grooves on their rotors, but none seem to be as exaggerated as mine.

I first noticed this after stopping for fuel half way up big bear mountain, and even found some shrapnel inside the barrel of my rear wheel. This further proves my suspicion of a bad casting on the rotor. I took my car to Newport Auto Center and the shop foreman claimed that it looked like a bad casting as well, but upon escalation to PCNA they came back to me and stated that nothing looks out of the ordinary....

At this point, I don't feel confident in the rear rotor, and submitted the pics of the shrapnel in the wheel for further investigation.

Thoughts?

I had the rotational ticking sound from front rotor , no big scallops like yours. They had to replace both front rotors and pads and all is good now.
