Default Removing intake covers + cleaning

Hey do any of you know the best way to get the GT4 intake side blades off? Do they just pull out? I put some light pressure on one but it didn't seem like that is how to remove them.

I have some track day butter in there that would be more easily cleaned if I could remove the covers.

On the roads around here I get tiny gravel in the lower seams where they meet the body too.

Any links? Just knowing how to do it would be helpful.

Good luck with that. Pulling on them will just ruin your car. Doubled sided tape and 3 screws per side.

You can't access the screws with the side sill in place. You need to remove them first. Then remove the intake scoops from behind and you'll probably need to replace the double sided tape each time you remove them.

People are being a bit shy here, bk_911. Here's a thread with links to a how-to removing the rocker panel on the GT4, which is how you get to the scoop to remove. Once the rocker is off, you can access the intake scoops as they are the same as those on any 981 (S, GTS, etc.)
