The outdoor one wouldn't look anything as tight fitting like that though, but I must admit it fits great for something that's not meant to fit. I've never been impressed with the material they use on the OEM outdoor covers, like a silver thermal blanket meant for space.

If the car spends any time in the summer sun, that might not be the most ideal color in terms of heat.

The WeatherShield HP is good, but a few years ago I had a squirrel go nuts on me.

So far I am liking this outdoor cover. Using coupon code REPEAT10 total was $312. Very snug fit with a moving blanket on the front fender (no blanket on the wing). The moving blankets are there to prevent any unintended dings.

Thanks Ed. you always know how to cheer me up. I could have been $33 closer to my 991.2 GT3 w/manual if you had found that coupon code sooner!

Let's hope those moving blankets are strong enough to fend off crazy squirrels.

I'm not sure how water is getting on the car but it's a $179 Harbor Freight car shelter so I guess I can't complain. I'll see if I can track down the leak.

I wonder if that is a less expensive cover than the GT4 ? The new model covers always seem more expensive ? Does it fit like a glove or just fit well

Ed - I tracked down the leak. An end roof section was not tucked over the side and water was getting in.

This Bay Area hillbilly and his carport are good to go for another winter.
