Default Car cover

New here guys. Ill just start a thread about a car cover that I will def need as the car will be parked outside . But anyway have heard about weathershield hp? I have always used Audi oem ones on my cars so Im not sure what to do. I thought maybe the GT3 911 Outdoor oem cover should fit the GT4's. Anyone try it? Pretty much the same dimensions on both. Pretty close. Thanks for all the help and def excited to get this bad boy in the end of May.

GT3 cover dimensions not even close, would be a waste of your $300. Pete uses a Weathershield HD mentioned in the ongoing car cover thread:

Slight correction, I have the Weathershield HP. The HD is much more expensive and I have no experience with that one.

Someone in their marketing department needs to rename one of these covers, they're too easy to mix up!

I have the Weathershield HP as well. Fit is good! It's pretty lightweight and can be washed in my home machine.

Thanks rac10000!! Car lookin sweet. Cover does look good. Like kyrocks said. I would assume the GT3 would fit the GT4. It is a 100 cheaper and oem porsche. Mighttt try it. Still not 100% yet. I know Suncoast sells em. This one Kyrocks?

As people say tho Porsche is known for their cars not their covers. As covercraft is known for just covers.

Bud I am not trying to be a D#$% but what part of what Soupy said above did u miss ?
On Pete's suggestion I bought the Weather Shield HP
I like it, as its very light, and easy to put away, and to wash, but it lacks a bit in the ding protection dept ...
In fact that is the only drawback I see ... ( but if it was good in that area it probably would be lacking in the other positives I mentioned above
Your call ... good luck
regards
Ed

I realize you are looking for an outdoor cover and most of my experience is indoor storage, but I generally found CoverCraft to offer top products. Not the cheapest around, but craftsmanship is awesome. My favorite indoor cover remains the FormFit and have been considering it for the GT4. It's pricey though (in the $400s)...

That shouldn't stop you Like most of us here, you will probably soon find out you have a bunch of goodies already waiting for the car before she has even arrived States-side

OEM Turbo S cover fits well. Rear too. I just used it because I sold my TTS. They come in outdoor. If you were gonna buy one is just get the oem one from Suncoast.
