Zanzibar is a unique color. It's both a red and
an orange but a little more subtle than brighter
reds and oranges. I've seen it on a 996 Carrera.
I think it was an available color in the early 996
years. I really believe these PTS Porsches will
have good value in the years to come.

in MY2000 as a limited color on the gt3 & Turbo
only.
It then became a regular (optional) metallic color
on other Porsche models in 2001 & 2002. It was
pushed into a 'Special Color' option in 2003. It
was not particularly 'popular' in its day...but it
still retains a few daring followers to this day!
Thus it has been requested & approved as a
PTS option in both 997/987 & 991/981 era,
as you can see from photos already posted
on this thread.
