^^You should of also of told him that if for some reason over the next (5) days he changes his mind or has a change of heart to earn a long time Customer to give you a shout before you buy a 570S which is when you have to give them your deposit for a car below MSRP - see if he calls you back.

I did ask him to keep me in mind if something changes. But I wish I had said what you have quoted above. I well call back and use your terminology with him and any others a speak with. Thanks for the sound advice.
It sounded like they have a order in for the showroom but he was looking to get a $10k bonus now.
I found one 2 weeks ago at $5K over MSRP and close to my house - I decided to pursue it after calling 40+ dealership and either they had none or asking $10+ over MSRP. I figured to ship the car from the west coast or mid-west would cost $1500-$2000K plus the travel cost to the dealership to take delivery. So the overall cost is about $2-3K over MSRP
Haha, I saw a GT350 at Galpin and my god is it good looking in person. I casually inquired about it and was told I could get in line and start the bidding. if I did not have a GT4 though that would be the car I'd be scrambling to get my hands on.
I had an opportunity to drive the Mustang Shelby 350R on track last fall. Ohh very very nice; but no allocations in my area.

To clarify... Isn't the 'overall' cost $5k over MSRP (local car)? If you had a car at MSRP that you had to pick up/ship, then the 'overall' cost could be viewed as $2-3k over MSRP.
