Default GT4 Build... Any suggestions?

Here is the build I submitted to my dealer for my March allocation/June arrival. Im losing my mind over a few options such as the PDLS and 2 zone temp control... I have decided on the LWBS but there are a few other things im still uncertain about. Please look it over and offer your suggestions. Car will mostly be street driven with a track day or two a year.

Thanks!!

For a mostly street car, go with the PDLS. The 2 zone temp is BS given the size of the interior.

The build you have is very close to mine, you rock!

Thank you Jack!

From what i've read the PDLS is a bit brighter. I simply chose the PDLS because it looked pretty cool but I will probably remove it from my build.

Any other suggestions?

If cost isn't a concern, you're more likely to regret NOT getting certain options than getting them. Consider Alcantara visors, leather steering column, and maybe leather instrument surround, but that's a great build already.

Why do people think the attraction of dual zone climate control is the dual zone function? It's the set it and forget it climate control function. If the base option was single zone climate control, I'd keep that, but it's manual AC, which I didn't want.

The PDLS does add the black nipple onto your bumper, look up some pictures to see if that'll bother you.

Nevermind, I see that you had it painted as body color so you're probably aware of all that

I apologize if I've misled, but I'm coming from a 911S and cannot believe Porsche would sell an on-off A/C. The basic A/C is not temp driven?

+1. I even sync the two zones in my car. All I do is adjust the fan speed once in a while. Manual A/C is just fine in my Lotus, but seemed inappropriate for a car as luxurious as the GT4.

There is not a right or wrong answer though. If I had to pick ONE option for the GT4 it would be the leather or maybe LWBs depending on your use of the car. Everything else is just "nice to have."

The manual A/C has adjustable temperature in the sense that you can adjust it from "hot" to "cold" in the same way you adjust your faucet at home. It also has fan speed control. But you cannot set a specific temperature like "72 degrees" and then let the system figure out how to keep the cabin at that temperature. Manual A/C will continue to blow at the temperature you set. If you get too hot or cold, then it's up to you to adjust it.

I could live with that if it is a car for track mostly.

I also decided on manual AC. I had it on my last Porsche and it doesn't bother me at all. Even with my MDX that has dual automatic climate control I still don't use the auto feature.

I did a very similar build...spot on! Mine is jet black met with red belts/stitching. Only thing I added was light design package and extended leather for the dash. I did dual climate also...every other car I have has it so I'm used to it. Same use for me as well. I'm ready!

I would strongly suggest you add the Alcantara visors and definitely the leather steering column (it looks awesome with the leather steering wheel). I have both of these things and would regret not having them. I did not get the 2-zone climate control and don't miss it at all.

Thanks for the suggestions guys!!

I will check out the options you guys provided. I may eliminate the dual zone climate.

Leather steering column check!! Thanks rsolodude.

I went with standard manual AC, because I end up manually adjusting the two zone auto AC in my Audi anyways, when it decides the temperature difference is too great and then blows like crazy trying to compensate.

Update: Porsche does it better;
