Default Gt4 colour dilemma

Help !!! I've just had to spec my gt4 at dealers , went in thinking agate grey but don't like how it sometimes looks brown, had a macan for the day in grey and had a tinge of brown, so started looking at samples, have a sbm Cayman and love it, but want a different colour, don't like white as it can look flat, not so keen on brights, or black so dealer mentioned a colour so went for it , but still thinking if I've gone down the right route ,
Gt silver
Black wheels
Pccb's
Lwb's with yellow stitching
Clubs port
Would love other members thoughts
Cheers

You don't want grey or white or blue or brights.

Sounds like you're choosing between two shades of silver, two shades of black, and DBM, if Porsche still offers it.

Good luck!

GT Silver is definitely popular around here and looks good with any of the 3 wheel choices. Which one you want depends on what sort of look you want (racy/sinister, classy/classic, or somewhere in between) and of course your personal taste. PCCBs have been debated to death around here, so I won't go into that, but I personally chose steel because this car will see a fair amount of track time and I didn't consider perpetually clean wheels worth ~$8K.

Sorry, no more DBM, and no replacement either. That is from PCNA as of yesterday.

That's the way I did mine. GT Silver, PCCBs, black wheels, LWBs...should look fantastic. Due late January. I had a Rhodium GT3 and regretted not doing GT Silver.

I was wavering between GT Silver Metallic and Carrera White Metallic. Both are great, I decided on CWM. Just too biased towards really good white colors!

My thoughts are FANTASTIC but is that currently available?
If GT4 clubsport becomes available it will be sold through Porsche Motorsprt like the GT3 cup cars.

How come Rhodium silver isn't more popular? Seems like everyone likes the GT Silver better, although it seems to have a bluish cast to me. The Rhodium looks more like a "pure" silver...

Rhodium has more bluish hue but it is a very fascinating color because depending on the sunlight/shadow it changes its hues

Oh right- sorry. But is my recollection correct that the GT Silver has a bit of a yellow/gold tint?

You are thinking platinum silver.

GT silver is a grayish silver - like a silver paint with black undercoat. It is largely devoid of color.

That sounds like exactly what I want. I will have to find a local sample. Thanks!
