Default White Instrument Dials

Hi, I'm new to rennlist and new to ordering a Porsche. Local dealer got an allocation for GT4 from the extra production. I said I'd take the allocation. I previously tried to order last May, but dealer had no allocation.
I like white dials, and on GT4 configurator, one can't order white dials. One can order white dials for a GTS. If dealer inputted the order code for white dials for a GTS on a GT4 order, does any know if it would be accepted? Has anyone tried to order different color dials for a GT4? I suppose I could do it aftermarket, but prefer done at the factory. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the world of Porsche where ordering rules make no sense. They allowed white gauges on the gt3, but not the gt4? You can always try Porsche exclusive to see if they can help, but that branch only seems to work for the rich and famous. They seem to tell everyone else that they can't do anything.

I went through the configurator and was stumped that I missed the instrument gauge face color options.

Looks there are none, really?!

The configurator doesn't allow it. I've asked my salesman, and a week later I'm still waiting for information from the salesman.

Haha - so true!! Waiting for my CGTS-16 to be built in week 50. During the ordering process I was in contact with two different people at Exclusive regarding a couple of things I wanted to do. One was impossible (change steering wheel), the other (get deviated stiching on full leather) was first due to Cayman production facility location. When I then gave them the link to the thread here with the very well equipped (and full deviated stiching full leather int) Cayman S someone ordered a couple of months ago - then the reason suddenly was because I had a GTS and that car was an S...

So it seems sometimes they just don't wanna....

Food for thought: I had yellow gauges on my previous CS to match my PCCB and belts. Light colored gauges show all of the various warning lights and such, even when not on. I much prefer the darker colored gauges as they hide any lights/etc when they are not illuminated.

Interesting. I ordered white gauges (also on SC) to contrast the otherwise black/dark interior (in the coming CGTS - sorry for being in wrong sub-forum). The build has locked so not much to do about it now, but I wasn't too bothered in my 997S which had white gauges as standard.
