I have a special affinity for the red interior because my dad has a white 1953 and it had an original ruby red interior that really aged well; I grew up with it in the drive way and I use to marvel at its fresh and sporty interior.

updated the first post with a link to the spreadsheet. I'll update it every week or two. If you know of a VIN within the range already in the list, please let me know.

Thanks for doing this. Very interesting to see all of the different specs.

I may be missing it, but I didn't see a column for Option 852 - Porsche Dynamic Lighting System Plus. There is a column for Option 620 - Porsche Dynamic Lighting System, but none that I could see for PDLS Plus.

Huh, a lot of 2 zone temp control.
And almost no yellow. Going to be as rare as PTS

Milehigh, what surprises you about the number of 2 zones? It's one of the few Porsche recommended options?

I'm supposed to take possession of my car either the last five days of November or the first 5 days of December and I don't see mine on the list; should I be worried?

Oh, just that we're looking at a 2 seat roadster. Two zone control isn't really necessary but the auto temp is nice.
Porsche recommended it on a car they were trying to sell with no a/c. I guess I found that funny.

I hear you, I was going to go with the manual too, but I gave in when I started adding options and I was thinking what's another grand and didn't want any regrets - I now regret not getting the leather seat backs lol.

I don't get the 2-zone for $700+ either in a car with a very small cockpit that will be driven with the top down much if not most of the time. I elected not to get it since I am already over $115K, but seeing all the other that have selected it I am wondering if I am missing something.
I have it in my Cayenne Turbo S and it gets utilized but I don't have it in my 997 Turbo S and don't seem to miss it.

Walt, With The top down the automatic climate control will be hunting around for the correct temp, and if you turn it to manual then you've defeated the purpose of the upgrade. Having two separate settings for such a small cabin also seems futile (top up or down) which is another reason I didn't get it. I also hate how climate control blows air at you when you first turn a car on in an attempt to reach a temperature. I'd much rather regulate it myself. I think others have skipped this option also.. Follow your gut.

Man, I hated that in the S. Should be off by default but you had to turn the damn thing off every time.
I passed as well.

Ask your riding companion if she requires her feet to be warmer and you'll see the reason for two zone system

Totally understand!
Easy to get sucked in to that configurator.
You'll be driving it across country though if I remember , so the 2 zones will be way more useful if that's the case.

Saw the leather seats backs on the gt4 thread, they look awesome. You won't see them much on the Spyder unless you're short. I'm 5'10 and the seats were close to the back wall in the S. Only could see the top portion.
