Anyone on the GREEN DALE?

Anyone on the GREEN DALE?
Oddly, my car was scheduled to leave port on the 2nd and be on the KENTUCKY HIGHWAY, but it was late and got onto the GREEN DALE instead....
Anyone else?
Looks like Davisville on the 16th, then to Jacksonville on the 19th. The route of the ship happens to go through more of the stormy weather than KENTUCKY HIGHWAY, which can take the Southern approach.
Have you tracked the winds/wave heights on this one? At the moment, it's 'out of range' per my tracking...
I've noticed that this boat is fast....17-ish knot speeds vs. 13-14-ish speeds on the KENTUCKY HIGHWAY.
Thanks, -mark

I wonder if anyone has ever taken interior pictures of these auto carriers (you can find lots of exterior picts online). I'm curious as to how they are packed in there...do they anchor the tires of each car to lock them in?

The photos are not specific to this vessel, but are interesting. The cars seem to have no more than 6" between them - are they rolled into place in neutral?
Has anyone confirmed Plycon as the carrier from port to dealer for GT cars?

Mine is on the Green Dale as well. Supposed to be at Quonset Point, RI next Friday. To the dealer a few days later. Not concerned about sea height. Last I knew these cars do not get sea sick. Neither do I.

Thanks for the update Mark. My LO RS is also on the Green Dale. Wasn't able to find information on the arrival to Jacksonville and I happy to hear that it will dock on the 19th. 6 months of waiting will soon be over!!

Ship arrived in Jacksonville at 1:26AM today (PST).
Here is what happens next (as I understand it):
1. cars are moved to a lot
2. Porsche logistics arranges trucking - closed w/elevators for the GT cars...used to have contracts with certain companies, but now they are bid out...there are just a few that tend to get the calls though.
3. car shows up at the dealership, they PDI it...I'm asking them to skip the detail work and I'm going to watch the tech do the PDI.
