^Is it that noticeable both the additional power and the sound. I am not denying what you are conveying. Over at the GT3 forum you know the Group that has developed the new headers for the GT3/RS and the gains they are getting and it is with the stock muffler. They actually are recommending not to use a Rear Bypass or other mufflers on their set-up. I am wondering if, in addition, a sport exhaust would even be worth it. Already complaints of drone with after market exhaust. I think the good thing is you have time now to enjoy the new headers and see other people's review with a sport exhaust added.

Personally I would say it's not necessary for the reasons stated above. For the Sport Headers in particular I would not recommend it as typically ceramic coating is inside and out on the exhaust. If you ceramic coat the inner workings of a cat, its not going to work haha. In regards to that particular company, I would touch base with them and see if they can do just the exterior and if they have a safe process for cats.
You pm me a quote on race headers and exhaust? Would a tune be mandatory in your mind or would the car run well just w install and stock tune? CEL concerns?

If you Read Swain information on headers they explain the limits of internal and external coating, when to use them or not, etc....of course you would not coat headers with cats on the inside, very obvious. Also when the headers are complex with lots of curves they also don't coat the interior. Been using them for years (race cars and DDs) and these guys know their stuff, just talk to them if you have any questions. If this mod is good on race cars I see no reason not to do it on a DD if you want to improve the exhaust scavenging effect and lower temps a bit, remember hot gases go up and some will eventually be trap around the engine bay. I could see the warranty of the header manufacturer being affected by this process but I had great results in the past that if you are buying a quality header you shouldn't worry about it.

I heard the fabspeed headers today CAlexio
They sounded great![thumbsup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigok.gif)
I have a question though...
The free flow cats that come with the headers are welded on correct?( I didn't look under the car)
When and if the cats were to fade is one able to replace them ?
Who long do they last ie what is the life expectancy
?
TIA
