At the DeMan GT4 4.0 show we had a long discussion about wrapping headers. Joe from Fabspeed described excessively thick (1") wraps causing issues with Fabspeed headers, but perhaps he was talking about non-Porsches. The sense of the group was that reasonable use of wrapping was helpful in reducing engine compartment heat and exhaust scavenging although I do not recall Rick DeMan weighing in on the issue and Rick's race car did not have wrapped headers. Just another bit of background.

That's no Photoshop, friend! We custom laser engraved them for you to add a little personal touch!

Noooooo ****, Really? I guess I was hoping that but felt dumb believing it and had just assumed photoshop. That's simply an awesome touch. I'd give you a big somewhat uncomfortable man-hug if you were here right now bro. So consider yourself lucky that you're not here LOL!

That right there, is how you make a customer for life. Again; thank you.

100% real, that is literally me holding your exact headers hot off the laser engraver. I wouldn't tease you like that! Perks of having a hell of a manufacturing facility haha. Get yourself over here at some point and check out the place! Heck if you are feeling spontaneous come meet me at Daytona this weekend to support DeMan Motorsports and their GT4

Always a pleasure working with you, you are the man haha

So having Swain White Lightning Pure Ceramic Coating applied to the Sport Header(Cats included) is not recommended?

Personally I would say it's not necessary for the reasons stated above. For the Sport Headers in particular I would not recommend it as typically ceramic coating is inside and out on the exhaust. If you ceramic coat the inner workings of a cat, its not going to work haha. In regards to that particular company, I would touch base with them and see if they can do just the exterior and if they have a safe process for cats.

Lawd... nearly 100lbft gain at the wheels in the mid-range. I bet the car feels monumentally better on the street with these gains. Wonder what the rest of the chart looks like to redline?

All I can say is that the sport headers are mounted on the car, and I am blown away. The pickup, the way it revs more freely, the massively more instant throttle response, such an awesome modification.

The sound.. Hahahahaha.... It's ducking amazing. Basically, PSE off is now obligatory in the city, truly... (PSE on should be illegal in urban areas.). With PSE off the sound is quiet with a little more texture and what most would consider a beautiful sounding exhaust all by itself. It's quiet like stock, everything is muted like with stock headers, maybe just a tiny notch more volume but with more specific sounds.. Like the engine is breathing through multiple pipes. . In PSE ON, I have a belly laugh on downshifts in sport mode.. It's my own little lemans racer. And up-shifting is pure race car..Pure screamer. this is like a whole new car. unreal..

I. Can't think of a more satisfying, or a better $/smile modification. So very happy for the money well spent.

The mechanics couldn't stop talking about the casting, and the quality of the system... The fact that the attachment plate is thick and warp resistant, cast in a single piece with the beginning of the pipes so as to maximize strength. Interesting to notice how the stock ones are pipes attached at their base to the plate, much weaker setup. My only disappointment is that I'll never see those beautiful headers again as they are hidden beneath my car.

Heading to Alice's on skyline drive for a Porsche meet early tomorrow am... If this isn't the best sounding car there, I'll be shocked.

Ps: check The single family ownership Pullman next to mine.. When's the last time you saw one of those unless your dad was Mao or an African dictator?

CAlexio, do you have a tune or is your result with just the sport headers installed?

Sounds very enticing to do that mod!
