Not to distract from the lip buy, but has anyone considered a spyder lip on the gt4? Looks like from the pictures, the fascia is the same, but the gt4 lip is thicker and more protruding?
To the lucky ones who have both - can you check?
If I understand it correctly, I can order up to two and pay shipping once, correct?
If so, I am absolutely in for two. Please let me know if I can still get in on this and I will call Sunset and give them my info. or whatever else I need to do.
I am also in for at least 1 maybe 2 if shipping is combined. Plus there are other items i want to order from Sunset that should fit in the box. Has anyone figured out the shipping cost to Southern California ?

I purchased a GT4 on the weekend and the SA said it's definitely possible to put the Spyder's lip on the Cayman. Interesting option.
The Spyder's lip isn't as big as the GT4s. The Spyder also doesn't have a honking big wing out back. I would suppose that on the GT4, the large lip and the big wing are connected...aerodynamically.

They absolutely are but if you're just driving on the street, any aerodynamic imbalance or inefficiency caused by using the Spyder's front lip is likely next to nothing.
I'm just not sure how much extra ground clearance the Spyder's front lip will get you.
More importantly... does anyone know if this group buy is still open? I want to order 2!

Again, a huge Mahalo nui loa to the organizer.
Yes It is still open and I put you in for 2. Combined the shipping is confirmed. As matter of fact I am told by Sunset they are modifying the original boxes which may allow even more units in the same box, so I am going to try to see if we can consolidate these for the people living in the same city and save them a lot of money on shipping. Shortly I will post the updated list. Mark
