This should work. We (my company) also has at least one shipment to Seattle once a month, and probably can load them up on one of the trucks heading to Seattle area and you just need to meet the truck at the forwarder location and collect them. But I am also getting shipping quotes for various locations around the country for people who are ordering these, so I will get a quote for shipping it to Seattle and will let you know.

By the way, regarding your comment about keeping the car. Are you having second thoughts?

I apologize for not updating you for few days as I had to leave on an urgent business trip to South Africa. I will be back from South Africa on November 19th, But I wanted to take the time to give you quick updates about shipping these parts & cost to ship them.

Sunset informed me that they are planning to pack the front lip in a rectangular box with the following dimensions: 28" X 4" X 60". The box is needed to protect the front lip during shipment. It weighs roughly 11 Lbs total. Furthermore the box can accept 2 front lips, so for the people who are buying 2 units, they would be able to get both lips in the same box which is great news, as after researching the shipping discovered that adding another lip in the box won't increase the shipping cost but there would be a small increase to cover the additional insurance for the second lip. Now for the shipping cost, I tried several destinations (New York City, Houston Texas & finally LA California) to give all of you an idea how much it will cost you. First I have gotten an estimate from Sunset to ship these for you, then I proceeded by getting another quote using my company Fed Ex account as we get better discount than most. I was actually surprised by how high was the shipping cost and I guess the higher prices are due to the size of the box rather than the weight. Below are the estimates:

These estimates will be valid whether you shipped one or 2 units. So for the people shipping 2 units they basically ended up getting basically the shipping of the second unit for free, but you will be charged couple of extra bucks for the additional insurance on the second lip. By the way I did also a quick shipping estimate from Suncoast and found them to be similar, costing roughly $50 to ship to west cost and $35 to ship to east coast or Texas, but with their higher initial price, Sunset remains the lowest overall price even with the higher shipping cost to East cost.

You can go ahead and call Luke at Sunset if you are happy with the numbers (contact info listed below) and let them know that you are part of the GT4 Front LIP group buy and he will take your card number or payment and get the part ordered for you. By the way Luke is currently on vacation till this coming Sunday but you can call him next week and place your order. You can have Sunset ship the part for you, or if you want to take advantage of the reduce shipping cost I get through my company, just let them Know that you want Mark Qandil company to pick the parts when ready and i will have my assistance ship them for you using our discounted shipping prices as soon as they are available at Sunset.
