My GTSilver shows up Oct 29th. Thanks for a couple great photos! Did you do a full wrap or just the front?

Da Happa, in your experience with this color did you ever have occasion to do any touch up paintwork? Rumor is it's impossible to match and blend against the original paint.

I'm also considering doing a full clear matte wrap. I saw this done and it looks pretty cool and I'll have perfect paint underneath for when I'm tired of the matte look. I have blue car now and it's going to be tough for me to love a silver but I know how brilliant it is in person.

I did the full front with rolled edges, full rocker, fenders in front of rear wheels, behind rear wheels, door handle cups, mirrors, gt4 intakes. Stunning job, next time would consider a full wrap of the whole damn thing. Cost was $2400.

.
No. I was told before taking delivery that matching the paint was very difficult... Like a pearl white would be.... And chose to clear bra the entire front end, etc. the bra worked as advertised.

Thanks for sharing the beautfiul pictures of your car.

I am currently considering a GT4 in GT Silver. Did you consider to have the wheels in black? If so, what made you decide to go for the Platinum wheels?

Nice pics... A full clear Matt wrap would be very interesting to see on this color

I did not consider black wheels, to my eye they distract from the stunning lines of the car. The GT Silver is really hard to capture accurately in an image. The Platinum wheels are pretty good for hiding brake dust and seem to complement well. Lastly in my area every boy racer WRX STI has black wheels.

Boyracers do their own things. We do ours.

But anyway thanks for your feedback. I only ask because the Platinum wheels seem to not offer much contrast to the silver body. I personally have no issues with black wheels but indeed they are a PITA to keep clean.
