I was fortunate to be able to see a GT4 driven very well at Thunderhill this weekend. The driver has an excellent reputation and was clocked at 1:58 over the top during the day. I only got a relatively unimpressive 1:59 with my 991 GT3. Here is the video:

When you were following him was it evident that you had more speed on the straights? Where was he pulling away from you?

Yes, that is me driving the GT3. The speed difference on the straights was barely noticeable, but I think that is because he was exiting the corners faster than me. He is a better driver than me.
We were on equivalent street R comp tires. I'm running Trofeo R, and he was running OEM MPSC2 tires.

Yes. -3.0 camber up front, -2.5 camber rear, full soft front bar and full stiff rear bar. Aftermarket toe links were used.
