If anyone figures out to make this work on Android (specifically access to the GT4 group as noted in the enclosed literature ) please share.

The code is for iPhone only.

 

I downloaded the game for my S5 but don't see a way to get to a gt4 car. Will need to try it on my wife's iPhone but not sure it will hold an iPhone 6 plus

 

You won't be able to play with a GT4 right away. You have to download the game,open it and it will take you to a lap in a 997 GT3 RS,where it will show you how to steer and change camera angle. You need to complete this introductory race in order to get to the main menu.
Then,you close the game and proceed to the App Store on your phone. Scroll to the bottom on the main page and you will see the REDEEM button next to your respective App Store account. Redeem your package using the card you've received in the box.
Once that is completed,open the Game again-it will download the redeemed features,but you will still not be able to select the GT4 in the PRO section. You will have to complete a level in the AMATEUR section. After completing that level you will finally have full access to the GT4.

 

Had same thing happen at my house. My guess is they want to be sure it gets into the hands of the intended party! They want you to feel special and it is working!

 

Being that the whole GT4 seems surreal - can't believe I landed an allocation - I was pleased to find one of those steering wheels at my house last night.

Well, I was around today when FedEx reattempted delivery. I have to say, I was feeling pretty ****ty about my nearly $100k purchase and not hearing a peep out of Porsche and generally poor communication from the dealer. Figured they would at least send me a letter or something.

This is just genius though. They have a lot of first time Porsche buyers drooling over this car and it is the perfect opportunity to treat them like VIPs and make a good impression.

My outer box was a bit beat up and surprisingly not sealed at all just the flap inserted. The packaging is very nice...like Apple product packaging. And yes, an iPhone 6 Plus will fit the wheel with a good bit of effort on the spring loaded wheel adapter.

 

I had a chance to mess around with the wheel/game. Once you download the game and then redeem the code in the App Store, you'll see the GT4 theme in the game:










Before you can drive the GT4 though, you'll have to take the tutorial and then graduate from a basic program using either a Silvia or Focus RS:













After this you'll be able to access your GT4 from the main menu car selection (left top). You can choose factory paint colors, which is cool. You can even position the camera around the car to take screenshots.













Now, if you want to actually drive the GT4 you have to go to the Pro level category and then you'll see a GT4 Renegades series. Once here you will be able to drive it for the first time. I just wanted to see if the GT4 in-game sounds like the real deal and believe it or not they did a pretty good job of it.

 

same as others, not in or with the box, also missing the Real Racing 3 flyer - long shot here, can one of you check to see if your activation code also appears on the mailing label? Yeah I know, it's too good to be true....

No wheel, no book you guys got earlier either. I'm sure this is all going to some old address. I'm also sure that my ex wife is fuming because she keeps seeing Porsche stuff show up addressed to me! Ha!

I do wish that Porsche used my current mailing details rather than the stuff I provided them years ago.

 

Code only valid in USA and Mexico.
