GT4 Alignment Limits?
2 laps from swe track 3km short. Yellow downwards peak is understeer in the lap. It plenty. This we will fix with propper setup. And i show datatrace from Nurburgring as well before and after setup. It will be a big difference after setup and we will not see this much understeer For sure.
Sure I can adjust this from the driver Seat in the way i drive. But GT4 Is a mid engine car and from factory its way to much understeery. Its not like I abuse understeer to get this understeery data. Sure My drivingstyle is more to the attack driving and I like to seek grip as I go. Depending on what speeds One carry around tracks it Will differ in the way it understeer. Some might feel the car is ok, but if you dont want to wear out the front tire instant and if you got some speed around any given track it Will be to understeery For those drivers anyway. If you go around nur in sub 7.30btg it Will be a understeery car in the factory setting. If you go in 8.30-9 min in the same btg lap, Well not so much understeery then.
I can tell you, for 19" wheels, with the stock rear offset (51), the stock toe-link will be very close the wheel (depending on barrel design), so in addition to using aftermarket toe-links for more toe adjustment, it will hopefully also allow for better clearance on the inside, via a smaller head on the toe-link.
My shop has already test fitted some wheels. The fix seems to either run a 19x10.5" wheel with appropriate offset, or use some aftermarket toe links which have a smaller head, which will give more clearance for the 19x11" wide wheel.
The 11" wheels is literally shoe horned in there.

Haha, i did understand that. What I am saying is all gt cars are way to understeery from factory. And sure its up to us then who drive these cars to set up car to match With individual driverstyle/speed and in the end where you use car. Hence i am all about track driving and factory setting is not For me.
I might ad, if i would change the way i drive in terms of not geting close to understeer, Well then it Will slow me down. Due to I need to go very, very slow around any given track to avoid understeer. It not like that Will post faster laptimes.
German sport auto did not like the gt4 due to it did understeer plenty when they did do the ring lap, In the end they did set up the car as much as they could( not aggressive like toe bar etc) and did lower it down as it was not easy to go fast in the factory setting. As Well prior this they destroyed the front tire while lapning factory setting, hence they did put on brand new tires after set up to do the sport auto lap! As i driven mine plenty in factory setting i agree. Car need set up.

I'm surprised the sway bar settings didn't have a bigger impact on reducing understeer and will be really curious to hear your thoughts on your car's balance after you get the alignment work done.
I'm not surprised to hear this. The GT3 is also very sensitive to (bad) setup. I've driven cars that were either factory or not sorted alignment and they drove MUCH different than a properly setup car. Night and day almost.
