And how did you fair among them? Give you a run for your $, or did they wipe you off the road? I have seen one in person, and just a tad bit too "orange" for me with white interior, lol.

On public roads I don't have the guts or nuts to take these guys on. It'll be much different on the track. I did drive that red one a bit. Heavy car and not as nimble steering as I thought. Raw power. Big brakes. I'm 6'1" and I couldn't get low enough to see under the windshield support. The red looked red until I saw the blue, then it looked orange. That blue is stunning.
I have a lot of respect for the C8 and I am impressed with the accomplishment by GM but, I'll say it nicely... That GT4 is real easy on the eyes in that setting!
GM (and other designers/manufacturers) have had a lot of angular shapes and creases in their designs in the last decade or two. But the positive aesthetics of the rounded form, as embodied by the GT4 and other Porsche designs, is a timeless beauty. Sort of like the difference between the shapes of men and women. Botticelli and Reubens aren't known for their paintings of men! Of course, we could devolve into a discussion between the strength of Michelangelo's "David" versus the femininity of "The Venus de Milo," but I don't consider my car to be effeminate. But, as they said on Seinfeld, "Not that there's anything wrong with that!"
Finally took the cover off and drove to the post office and then for a ride. First time on the road since last Oct.
Was hesitant to take it out with the shelter in place orders but decided I should drive it as much as I like as long as I’m respecting the rules (which I am).

Nice grocery getter you got there. Agate is so bad ***.
This was taken February 28th, the day after I got back from 2 days at Talladega Motor sport Park, my first and only track event this year. Sure hope the tracks open soon. Stay healthy and safe. But fast too.
I've been off this board for a long time. It's nice to see some familiar names and so many gorgeous photos still being posted! Here is my quick snap from yesterday. First time the car has been out since last October. Stuck at 29,000 miles and probably won't hit 30K this year with all the restrictions in place unfortunately. The car is aging well but I just have to accept the fact that the wheels and calipers will never be sparkling new again!
