Based on some of the emails that I got on my craigslist ad, he might get $20K over sticker, especially if he has the title in hand. I think there are exporters trying to find a used GT4.

I am sure I am in the minority here but isn't this good old supply & demand at work? Dealers sell cars under MSRP so why not over MSRP?

I have a feeling there are potential GT4 buyers not on the forum.

I was talking to a SA, and he says since it's "sold out", he has rich clients who are willing to pay $50K over MSRP for the car...

Yeah. "Sold out."

I love how the 991.1 GT3 was "sold out" approximately five times.

That's like saying I've quit smoking 6 times already! No, son, you only quit once... the last time, when it actually sticks.

They tried to sell out, it just didn't take.

The guy with the ebay car appears to have lowered the asking to $119,425. So I guess he is having a tough time.

On the other hand supply seems to be waning. For awhile I was seeing more and more cars on Autotrader each day, at one point there were 30.

For 3 or 4 days now the number available has only gone down. There are currently 21 listed on AT.

There are surely many.

I always interpret it as sold out of what is is currently known to have been available.

That's not exactly a desperation price.

Oh yeah I agree. As a matter of fact given the shrinking inventory available if I was him I might want to stick to my guns. But this guy appears to be a pure speculator and I am sure his model is based on quick flips so i actually expect him to continue to walk the price down until he unloads it.
