Mine left on 7/29, scheduled arrival at Davisville on 8/7. So I'm not sure if it is on Mercury Ace or Dover Highway. Hoping my sales manager can find the ship name.

In any case I am now 1 month ahead of the original ship arrival for this allocation.

Accel, I think we're both on Dover Highway. I just asked for my V332 date and if there's any updated ETA. Judging from my GTS last year, it was about 1 week from Davisville entry to the dealership so we're looking at a potential 8/14 delivery. Would be amusing if we met at the dealership for pickup with both GT4s on the showroom floor .

Looks like the Dover Highway is about to enter the open Atlantic. It is just south of Ireland currently. The Mercury Ace is actually a bit behind which is interesting considering it was due to Davisville 2 days before Dover Highway.

That would be pretty neat to pick them up at the same time. I just don't know when I'm going to be able to make it up there. I was originally planning on perhaps a Saturday to go but I'm going to be way too excited. Maybe I'll be able to get it the day it is ready.

The one I'm buying is on the dealer's website and has a VIN number issued. I emailed the sales manager but he's on vacation. When do they issue the VIN number? When it's at the US port or right before it leaves the port to the dealer?

VIN is issued as the end of production. At least that was when I was able to get mine.

Got an update from my SA, looks like mine got on a boat on 7/27 as well so I'm aboard Mercury Ace. Both Dover Highway and Mercury Ace seems to have an ETA of 8/8 so all of our cars will probably get Davisville PDI'd at the same time. ETA shows 8/21 now but I'm gonna bet on 8/14 still.

I also got on a boat on 7/27 and my build sheet estimates at 8/7 arrival to RI. How do you know for sure what boat you are on? My SA says the Porsche system is delayed and he can't see which boat I am on yet... It would just be fun to know the actual boat...

It's unfortunately an educated guess from this point. If you check the marinetraffic status for Mercury Ace and Dover Highway, you can see that Mercury Ace arrived to Emden first and left around 7/28. Dover Highway didn't arrive to Emden until 7/28 and left at 7/29. Since Accel is saying he has a 7/29 Exit Emden date, that really just leaves us with 7/27 status dates on the boat that left Emden first so I'm pretty sure Mercury Ace is it. Mercury Ace looks like it is running late as it did a brief stop at Bremerhaven.

Dover Highway just docked within the last hour. Mercury Ace is still in the open ocean but is scheduled to arrive today. Its last position is a couple days behind Dover Highway though so I'd guess a Monday arrival for it.

I was antsy and emailed my dealer today and he indicated that the boat I'm on actually left today (8/8), not yesterday as originally scheduled. The vessel name wasn't in the database yet, so I'm going to be reaching out early next week to get an update.

I did check marinetraffic.com and saw a few cargo/car carriers did leave today (Schelde Highway, EMS Highway, Morning Mercator, Garnet Leader).

I was way more patient waiting for my Cayman S two years ago. Not knowing this time is starting to drive me crazy...

Mercury Ace is now about 300km from Davisville port.
