Since there are no new GT4s, what does it mean "is database being maintained"? What is there to maintain?

Not convinced all cars reflected as my VIN is not on list. Was hoping to have it added since last Feb when I acquired mine second hand, but to no avail.

So this is pretty neat, VIN Analytics now has a section for all of the GT4 VIN's / builds.

Check it out here:

I’m going to hazard a guess that the list on vin analytics is from people who have ran vins through them

I've requested access to the google database more than once...... is there another way to view it?

I am not sure what your issue is. I click on the link in the first post and it opens no problem for me. I just checked again a few seconds ago.

With due respect, I doubt very much that many GT4 owners have run their VINs through VinAnalytics.com. There are hundreds in the VA database...just not mine. Who knows.

The summary analytics of the Google dbf are interesting but since the VINs appear to be truncated I question its comprehensiveness. This because I couldn't locate my car based on VIN.. However I was able to quickly drill down to my GT4 in the Analytics dbf based only on the last 4 digits of my VIN. As noted by several others on this thread, I've never done a VIN search but am a CPO buyer which may have put my car's information into the public domain. Onward.

Hi folks - sorry, just seeing this now. Let me chime in regarding VIN Analytics. We have every GT4 build sheet available with one caveat: the build sheet has actually been made available by Porsche. That includes a total of 2392 vehicles with 2099 allocated to the US and 293 to Canada.

Unfortunately not all build sheets are actually published by Porsche and I've seen many pop-up years later. No rhyme or reason - likely just human error but it's not 100% clear.

Does anybody have the actual confirmed number of 981 GT4s produced by region? If I remember correctly, it's something like 6k worldwide.
