Don't pass up on this guys! Absolutely phenomenal event, great people, and even better track. The elevation changes were intoxicating. Here is a video of me on track and some pictures from the event, but it doesn't do it justice one bit trust me.

Nice driving John!!

You're getting better(or did you put better tires on the car?).

This track is 200 miles away a long drive to get there and I see there are no wave-by rules there could be dangerous with some yahoos on the track....
Don't know if I would want to risk damage to the car, but I would definitely go to NJMP again, I want to try the Lightning circuit.

Thank's for your help with the parts delivery for the GT4, haven't driven it yet in anger hopefully it is a little faster.

See you soon.

Hi Alex..allow me to chime in as I am the host of this event. FYI, passing is ONLY permitted by 'point by' or 'signal by' as this was presented during the drivers briefing in the morning prior to the start of the day

Thanks Alex! Seat time helps a lot, the tires are still the same Super Sports as last time unfortunately haha.

Worth the drive Alex trust me! Time flew by driving the Cayman there haha. Every fellow in the video gave me a point by before I passed. There were very clear instructions on that in the morning meeting and the lunch break to ensure that was followed. Sam runs a very tight program with the owners of that track, and of all the events I attended this was by far my favorite

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the upgrades!

John

Did you go to the track the day before the event and spend the night?
Seems like a lot of driving in one day if you have to leave at 4am to get there on time.

the majority of the drivers went up the day or night before and stayed at the holiday inn. It's a nice scenic drive upstate as well especially in the fall with changing colors, etc.

Hope to see more new owners there tomorrow. I'll be next to a flashy Sapphire Blue GT4. Maybe we can get a group photo afterwards at the Paul Miller Porsche parking lot located about 10 minutes away...
