My GT4 search has been long and arduous (just search through my posts); I've gone crazy trying to get one. However, a glimmer of hope has arisen; a dealership I have been on the list on for quite some time said they should be seeing allocation within the week (@MSRP and a custom order). I have to check back in next week, but I am really hoping this comes to fruition.

I told you a long time ago you'll get one! Wait till the hysteria dies down and there will be a few. As persistent as you are,I had no doubt success is coming.

 

Hope it works out for you. I tried a couple So. Calif. dealers, they laughed at me. I put a feeler out on this great site and a fellow Rennlister put me in touch with his dealership where he just cancelled his deposit. I called and they accepted my deposit in his place. I don't want to get my hopes up, but it's nice to dream. Like you, wish me luck.

HAHA! You were 100% right! I was way too excited initially, but after all of the great advice I have received on this forum and from friends, I have decided to keep calm and be patient.

If anyone knows of a slot please contact me. I've been diligently trying but won't know until next year. My chances look slim and even if my position improves I'm likely to miss it by one slot unless people ahead of me back out.

Is that what it means? I asked my SA about the book and he told me he has never seen one.

They have my deposit but no book yet.

Maybe I'll never get a car
