Last time I checked, GT4 was cheaper in Canada than the U.S. ;-)

Those are the prices in Holland. They tax the living $#!7 out of cars there.

Only if you convert to U.S. currency. Unfortunately, it doesn't help most people living in the U.S., since Porsche Canada does not allow new-car sales to people from out-of-country. It also doesn't help Canadians, since we're paid in local pesos. Therefore, except for the select few endowed with U.S. trust funds, the GT4 is more expensive here.

My reasonably speced GT4 is about $115k here in Sweden (base price $100k) . A GT3 if you could get it from the dealer around $180k.

nic vid .. the ducts being inline with the wheel (on he lca) are unlikley the source of scraping on any speed bumps .. it'll scrape tho, its true

interesting comment re the 'hold back" and the "soft considering the wing" .. maybe best for a 90-10 road-track car tho

He was driving in Normal PASM mode, so I'm sure he could have firmed up the ride further, but a harsher riding car is not necessarily a better track car in these days of adaptive suspensions.

You definitely need to take speed bumps at a sharper angle (like 45 degrees) to avoid scraping.
I don't have a lot of seat time in Caymans but was pleasantly surprised with the headroom in the GT4. I would say there is slightly more headspace than in a 996 with euro buckets and slightly less or similar to a 997 with gt2 seats.
For a reference I'm 6'2 with a tall torso.

So helmet clearance is not a problem, even if you have a long torso? I am a fairly big guy and am tired at times to have to tilt my head while driving an event ....

I wish - 12 more weeks for my own, but found a generous friend to let me have a seat in LWB's in GT4.

Default LWB Headroom

I fit with a helmet! I was surprised, but I fit with an inch to spare. The headrest tends to push your helmeted head forward a bit, but headroom is not an issue. I have a really long torso and I don't fit as well in a 997 GT3 with GT2 seats. Sweet car!

Sorry, was a quick visit and I'm a lousy photographer. LWB's were comfy below the waist, but I can tell that more lumbar support would be welcome. Overall good - felt right around the shoulders. Look great and support was good - made me wish I could drive it!
