No worries Guo6367, I didn't even sit in the car. I asked the salesman nicely to just open the door for some photos and they were reluctant to do even that! Your car will be safe for the rest of the year there I'm sure.

Just kidding!
Would like GT4 lover share the happiness.

+1 I'm going to ask my SA if she can somehow ensure that my car is shod with MPSC 2s at the factory or else commit to swapping them onto my car at delivery if it arrives with something else.

Good luck with that! The MPSC2 are in very tight supply. They use both Michelin and Dunlop to ensure that there is no hold up in production. Highly doubt your dealer will be willing to shape your Dunlop with another customer's car. Even, if they do, I would worry about buying anything from them...
But yeah, I'll just cross my fingers that I happen to get Michelins at the factory. Worst case, the Dunlops won't last too long anyway I guess.

Yeah, I'm not optimistic. Since writing that post I've found that tires can't be specified with the factory. As for swapping, I think it's unlikely that there will be another GT4 on the lot to swap with and was instead thinking they might install MPSC2s from service inventory and take the Dunlops. I know it's unlikely, but can't hurt to ask -- same with throwing in the clear LED side markers. We are paying MSRP for the car after all though, so maybe we'll get some accommodations?
