Hello from germany,
this is my first post here but i followed your gt 4 threads and postings right from the beginning when the rumours about the gt4 started. it had been a big support so far in making my gt4 order last week. thank you guys for that!!
my allocation is in the end of june, i hope the lwb seats won't actually cause a big delay , otherwise i am thinking about switching towards the "normal" sport seats.
i also heard today from a friend of mine who is working at porsche ag in stuttgart that it is comfirmed that another 800 units -more than usually planed- will be build and most of them will be delivered to North America. i think this is good news for you!
ps. i am sorry for my poor english!

That is great news and congrats to you! Your English is better than others who post here that speak the language natively.

Meaning PTS will be available next year?? I have an early June 2015 build, but may forego if PTS is available.

Patience, folks.

To be honest, I don't expect more allocs to drop for another few weeks.

Give them time, folks. It's far too early in the MY2016 run (the run hasn't even started yet!) to call an end to MY2016 allocations.

Well, he didn't say yes or no specifically, but told me to hurry up and nail down our color so he could get it into the pipeline. I am an optimist, so I'm taking that as a definite yes!

Yup! #2 at a small local dealer and they haven't said anything as far as how many allocations they received (if any) or when they might get one. They did say they will do their best to get me a car , not sure what that means but at least they are super friendly...

Greetings from an american living in South Africa, paid deposit on the 8th of March. Finally received sms from dealership confirming allocation but no build date as of yet.

The irony is that I probably would not have received an allocation stateside. Porsche have been represented here since 1952 and now have 5 dealerships from one exclusive distributor.

As i am receiving right hand drive can anyone confirm a rhd build date?

Congrats to all who got their new allocations!

Hmmm... now I wonder if I should ask for a later slot to get into a better time for Euro Delivery... or a PTS slot for viper green... Damn, it was easier when there was no such choice

You might want to ask the guys on Piston Heads in the UK. Here is a massive thread on the GT4. Interesting to note they are receiving word too that three color choices are stopped as well as a delay from the LWB seats and Clubsport package.

Still no word on a second round of allocations, I'm still sitting 3rd on a Premier dealer's list.

Would love to have the absolute confidence some are showing that I will get a car.

You will get one, Chris! Keep the faith. It may not come as soon as you'd like, but you are high enough on the list to get one in the next round of allocations, I think. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

TT

Yeah number 3 somewhere should be good. Might not be till late fall or over the winter but you will get one. Now number 5 or higher somewhere? Not likely for well over a year.

As far as I understand it, they're working on this. Remember, PCNA doesn't create allocations, they get them from PAG (factory), so they have to convince the factory to allocate more production slots to them just like every other "official" Porsche importer in the world.

Patience. Many of us are in the same boat.
