Default Feeler: Sharkwerks GT3 Extended Tips Group Buy

Hi All!

I reached out Shark Werks about getting a set of extended tips for my GT3 center section on my Spyder. Dan has been awesome and very responsive. If we have enough interest (5 minimum), he would do a run for us. These would be 88mm as the 100mm have been prone to warping the rear bumper. The length is up for discussion but it would need to be a consensus. I am thinking 7.5" total which would slightly protrude past the bumper. Price would be 475 in black like the link below. Thoughts?!

For Reference:

I had some made out of titanium. This is 88mm and 7.5 inches long for reference… hope that helps with your decision on length. I had 100mm but that melted the bumper.

Not to hijack the thread, but what is the red thing in the pic below? I’ve never jacked up the car from that location.

Fabspeed sells these but I've read it's the best of places to be jacking the car up from.

It IS the best of places or it ISN’T the best of places?

And to the original poster, why? They look like somebody made them in their garage with a hacksaw, compared to the beautifully finished OEM. What am I missing? Good for 35hp?

Glad you asked the question, I was wondering the same. Thought I was an idiot for not “getting it”. At least now I know there’s two of us.😉

As to why, I don't feel like the exhaust should be sunken in behind the bumper. You can see from the pic below its pretty far back and I believe a flush or semi-protruding would look best.
