There are no cats in the system. The next time I'm under the car I can take pictures of the O2 upstream/downstream sensor locations and post them if that is what you're referring to.

Can you add the part numbers needed for the extender components? I am looking for the connector parts in particular. Thanks!

Here you go. You will need one each of the Amazon Items and two each of the plugs. If you want to source the plugs elsewhere, the Bosch numbers are:

Bosch - 1928403453

Bosch - 1928403736

Insulation Sleeve - Amazon Insulation Sleeve - Amazon

Wire - Amazon Wire - Amazon

4-way sealed Plug Bosch BSK Connector Kit for Bosch MAP Sensor

4 Way Sealed Receptacle Bosch BSK Connector Kit for Bosch MAP Sensor

Yes they are. The 90 deg offsets come in two pieces. You screw the box section into the exhaust pipe, screw the sensor into the longer section, and then screw the two sections together. After you get the assembly aligned the way you want, you tighten the locking nut.

I am about to install the Dundon GT3 muffler conversion kit on my 981 GTS, and it has the O2 sensors in approximately the same place as this kit. This thread is a godsend as it helps me identify the required parts to build the extensions, so thankyou for that, but would you mind posting how difficult (or easy) you found it to access the existing plug end of the O2 sensors wires near the bulkhead. If you have any tips on how best to approach this part of the install it would be much appreciated. Finally, if you happen to have or feel like taking pictures of this part of the underside of the car, that would be great. Thanks very much.

It is not difficult. You will have to remove the under-panel at the front of the engine and you will find the connectors mounted on the firewall. Additionally, you will need to snip some of the mounting zip ties to remove the existing harness. The job will be much easier if you have access to a 2 or 4 post lift. Below is a list of the items you will need from Amazon and Ballenger Motorsports bmotorsports.com. You may also need a terminal crimping tool. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Default O2 sensor extension bits- links/partnumbers?

I'm going through the same thing; I've made these before for a BMWE46 M3 but on my 718 4Liter I'd love to use the correct connectors. I know this is an old post...

What I can say is that it transformed the car - the power delivery is much more linear. Also, the downstream o2 sensor wires will not reach to the new location. I have ordered the components to make the extensions. It will take a few weeks as the Bosch connectors are coming from England. I was able to get the wire and shielding off Amazon. Hope to post it on Youtube within the next week or so work permitting.

I would think that they would be the same as the 981, You would have to look at yours and compare them to the one's I used above. If so, they are still available Ballenger Motorsports at the link listed above.
