My first mod was to get rid of the ugly yellow warning stickers on the visors. Easy, cheap, and makes the interior much cleaner looking.

Have you looked at Dundon? They sound incredible, no drone, and provide amazing customer service.

Almost goes without saying, but... not quite, so I'll say it: It's hard to beat getting some instruction in the car at an HPDE. Spending a couple days with an instructor is worth far more time (, speed, confidence, exhilaration, etc) than nearly anything else I can think of, plus you'll be a better and safer driver on both the track and street. I've had instructors with both the Audi Club Northwest and the Intermountain Region PCA and they've all been just excellent. Dramatically increased my enjoyment of the car. I'd highly recommend it even if you have no intentions of doing a lot of track events.

This is money well spent. I spent my first two years tracking my car with no mods. Learn the car then make changes.

This is usually mine as well. But with a car like this. I want to sort all the cleaning and protection(PPF) first. I will get tint.

I probably will do something like this. I race kart's right now so I'm pretty decent with pushing and running good lines. I just need to know how to handle this car and what it can and cannot do.

Really love mine. Paired with Softronic tune, they are transformative at the track.

Agreed.
The more you know about these cars, the more you (i) realize that Porsche designed / manufactured a car that far exceeds the competence of most of us as drivers.
If you want to mod to make the car your own, cool, but don't fool yourself into thinking it makes the car "better" (performance).
Just my opinion and YMMV.

Enjoy.

DSC Sport Controller was the first thing I installed, followed shortly after by the LED side markers and Eddie's LWB bolster covers (as others mentioned, I also did the wind diffusers and they're a big help for single window down driving, e.g. track days). Then the pandemic hit and I went off and threw in an extra 700cc worth of displacement

Yea i saw your post in the DeMan thread. So jealous about that upgrade. Maybe eventually like 3 years down the road lol. I helped a fellow RLer out and he had the DSC controller and that is on the list as well. I am surprised how much of a difference it makes and you can tune it to fit YOU, which is really nice.

I just jumped on the IPD Plenum i saw on the marketplace. I will pick up a throttle body later. But i think i am going to get the Soul race headers for first big mod.

I have already cleaned the car from top to bottom.
I just ordered Gtechniq ceramic coating to put on the non PPF sections. I want to get more PPF on the parts I can put on. I don't trust myself to do the rear bumper. I want to do the doors and wing.

I am working on getting it. I just cannot wait to really drive it when the weather breaks.

That has not been my experience. I have the Dundon headers on my GT4 and experience no drone with them.

Do you have the GT3 muffler and conversion kit too? Lots of comments in this forum about drone re Dundon headers w the GT3 muffler.

I am going to go with the Soul race headers with the factory PSE muffler for now and see how that is.
