I believe it starts as a Porsche forged crank that is custom ground to increase stroke, lightened and then treated with an oleophobic coating that also gives it the shine... I know, I'm talking dirty now... ahahaha

I got the dyno figures from Rick and the end results are stunning: 485 hp and 385 lbft measured at the wheel using Dynapack dyno (that's a load-brake chassis dyno, not an inertial chassis dyno)... If you consider a 10%-11% driveline loss you get 540 hp and 425 lbft estimated at the crank (I got the driveline loss by comparing what I've saw being measured on chassis dyno for stock GT4 of, roughly, 345 hp / 280 lbft against the advertised engine figures of 385 hp / 309 lbft).

This pencils out to a brake mean effective pressure (BMEP) of 16.1!!!! The GT4 in stock form has a BMEP of 13.9. The GT3RS with 347 lbft out of 4L is at 14.8 bar and the highest BMEP in a production car appears to be from a Ferrari 458 with 400 lbft ouf of 4.5L at 15.1 bar (and yes, Rick's 4.5 makes more torque than a Ferrari 458). A 2008 F1 car with the 2.4L engine had a BMEP of 15.5 bar. The only thing I could find with a higher BMEP is the Gibson engine used by the LeMan LMP2 cars with a BMEP 16.6 bar...
